If you haven’t heard, we’ve left BBN and I have gone back to
pastoring. The Lord has led us to the wonderful folks at Red Hill
Baptist Church in Ansonville, NC. The church is about 36 miles from
where we currently live. As you can imagine, we are busy getting
ready for the move and getting adjusted to a new schedule.
I’ll blog more on this later. Thanks for your prayers!

A Long Week, But A Good Week!!

This week has been very full, to say the least! In addition to my regular work at BBN, I preached a revival at Red Hill Baptist Church in Ansonville, NC.

The meeting was originally scheduled for Monday – Thursday evenings, but Monday night was dropped due to a death in the church family. Monday evening found many of the church members at a local funeral home showing their love and support to the grieving family.

On Tuesday night we could kind of feel the tiredness in the building, the funeral had been held at the church that morning. The Lord worked nonetheless and we had many Christians who requested prayer during the invitation time.

On Wednesday & Thursday nights the spirit of the meeting was much improved! On both nights we had many Christians requesting prayer and the Lord was definitely working. On the final night we saw one gentleman come to Christ!

Just like every other revival meeting or service I have ever conducted, we will never know all the fruit that will result because of the meetings – at least not here, and not now. For all that was accomplished, and all that will be accomplished, I say to God be the Glory!!!

Thanks to those of you who prayed for us!

It will probably take us a few days to get things back to normal. The laundry piled up, the mail basket is pretty full, and our bodies are tired! But what a small price to pay to be allowed the privilege to serve God and His people.
