If you remember from my previous post in February, our son Gabriel was diagnosed with a flat head. There was a real possibility of his having to wear a special head band to correct the problem.

Today we headed back to the plastic surgeon for a follow up and Gabe was given a clean bill of health! We don’t even have to see the doctor again about this!

We give thanks to God for this blessing!!! We also wanted to thank all of you who were praying for Gabe. If the treatment was needed it would have been very time consuming & expensive!

Gabe will be 9 months old in 7 days.

>Update on Gideon’s Eyes

Last Tuesday we were back at his surgeons office for a check up and got a pretty good report. She is pleased with the results of the surgery and the alignment!

When she checked his vision he was reading about 20/40, was slightly farsighted with a bit of astigmatism. She is not overly concerned and does not know yet if he will need glasses. We are to head back in 4 months for another checkup. She is hoping that he will be able to read the chart at that time to give her a more accurate picture of his sight. Thanks for your prayers for Gideon as well.

Gideon, now 27 months old, appeared in his first Christmas Program at church this morning. He decided to add the unscripted lines of “See Daddy?!…” He is the last one off the stage if you have a hard time picking him out.

This video is only exciting to grandparents and folks who get a kick out of children embarrassing their parents!
